I wonder if Madoff feels guilty about the two men who committed suicide? Nah, Madoff has been ripping off investors for decades. I hope he rots in prison.
Wal-Mart is run like something out of an old Upton Sinclair novel.
I still shop there, but only out of necessity. At least they keep many of my neighbors employed during these bad economic times.
Still, when Wal-Mart came to town, they killed off all the mom and pop businesses I used to love going into.
Today, everything is a franchise or chain store.
The best hardware store we ever had was killed off by Home Depot.
at least those people who got caught in the flood in the DC area will give struggling car dealers some business. how many cars were destroyed? any idea?
